Oh hey, I have a livejournal still.
Interesting...
Well, uh, let's see...I'm living in Templeton again, am working as a welder, have done hardly any new artwork, and apart from hanging out with people....that's about it.
Seriously o.o my days are pretty uneventful. |

So next saturday (the 9th) I'll be moving back to SLO county to go back to school for my welding career.
Just a quick refresher on what's happened to me since my last journal...

Thanksgiving was awesome
My computer died (motherboard destroyed processors as I put them in) so I need a new one for christmas.
Other than that...it's been pretty boring for me.
Oh, and I built a tail for someone, because I guess I build them now o.o |

Well, about a week after I got the fur I ordered from SPark, here's what I've got so far of my own fursuit.
Bodysuit: 100% done, with assistance from Asshole Polecat.
HandPaws: 40% done, one paw completed, other currently being sewed, awaiting fur trimming.
Feetpaws: 0%/35% done, I'm not too happy with the first footpaw I made...so I may change the design.
Tail: 100% done, uses a beltloop, goes through the bodysuit so it can be tugged and won't rip the suit (it'll just misplace my hip :3)
Head: Okay...I really don't know, it could be 90% done, it could be torn apart and started over again. It's got a lot of good points and a lot of bad points to it currently, I'll do my best to salvage what I've got.

I called Draco earlier during my break to ask him how his trip back was going, and he said he was back at Radjin's house "that's odd..." I thought since his train was scheduled to leave almost an hour before I had called him, at which point I figured "Oh, he missed his train" so I asked him what exactly happened and he said "well....I'm not on the train...." "and why not?" "it uh, blew up" which of course I translate to mean something stupid like it broke down or something since that's how we normally talk, but no no no, he wasn't kidding.
Ok so he's on his way to the train station earlier this morning, and as he arrives the people at the desk tell him "Um....Mister [Last Name], we have some bad news......uh....your train.....uh...ran-into-a-gas-truck-and-exploded-Can we get you another free ticket for a later train today?"
As he was telling me this on the phone I just kinda sat there not believing it for a second.
Apparently, I guess there was a semitruck full of some kind of combustible material and the train hit it...
So...his train exploded.
That's...normal right? |

| Weekend from HELL |

By HELL, I mean Flowers and Sunshine land. It was one of the most spectacular weekends I can remember having for the last few years short of my last Con, but even that was nothing compared to this.
Saturday after my roommate Draco got off work I sprung the surprise for him that we were going to go down to Modesto to visit Radjin.
The evening progressed rather mildly, just a bunch of talking, BSing, eating, and just everyone able to just detach, relax and just get close for a little while.
The next day, Radjin and Growl took us out to the Modesto Reservoir to go JetSkiing on the waverunner. I was originally going to do my normal thing where I say "nah, that's alright" but I decided I came out there to enjoy myself and dammit, that's what I was going to do, so I hopped onto it and took it out for a spin. Took about 10 to 20 minutes to get used to it before I was cruising along at around 55-60mph and just flying past everything having the time of my life. Draco was next out on his own, and after a similar break-in period, he was going around enjoying himself immensely (I assume, kinda hard to hear him over his constant grinning :3) while I stayed behind and got cozy on the shore with Radjin and Growl, taking pictures of Draco as he sped by.
This progressed for a few hours into the mid afternoon, both of us slowly becoming more daring with what we would try on the waverunner until we were both completely comfortable with it, at which point we decided to head on back for a while and begin the winding down thing of more talking and BSing around and just talking about things we haven't gotten the chance to talk about for a long time.
Finally Draco decided to stay behind and enjoy his additional day off while I headed back, having to work tomorrow. All in all though, it was the most fun I've had in a looooong time, and I certainly hope Draco enjoy[ed/s] himself, I had it planned out with him in mind because I felt that he really needed to just let himself have fun again =)

A package just arrived in the mail today from Comcast, perhaps it's my new modem so I won't be disconnected from the internet every 5 seconds!
Just gotta wait for my roommate to get back before opening it since it's addressed to him. |

Well, I have to start somewhere I guess.
Today was a rather boring day, woke up and had an incredible sensation of my head flopping onto the ground as my body felt completely drained of energy. After checking my weight I see why, I'm 5'7" of average build and fairly narrow bone structure, but I only tip the scales at 131 lbs currently, horribly underweight, it's a small wonder why I haven't had much of any energy the last few weeks with how my job has been on me not to mention my sleep cycle.
I finally got around to buying some batteries and a card reader for a digital camera that my friend Timba sent me (for free, what a guy!). Been snapping a few pictures here and there to test it out, works pretty well, 2 megapixel which is more than sufficient for my needs. |
